Quarry Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Quarry Pond you can take a hike along the South Face Trail; you can hit the beach if you want, Hero Beach is practically right here. If you need a spot to stay Central House Inn is a magnificent choice, and nothing beats kicking back at Joyce Beach. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Quarry Pond.

| | Not far from Quarry Pond, you'll find Goose Pond which is a pretty lake, and swamps don’t sound that great but Lily Pond close to Quarry Pond is reasonably great. Don't forget to stop by Back Cove if you're here at Quarry Pond; camping at Quarry Pond is fine fun, Bass Harbor Campground is a fine local campground. beauty of this vicinity. After a long day outdoors Ann's Point Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and the panorama of Big Mountain is stunning. Quarry Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; the month
of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Quarry Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures
are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Quarry Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Gooseberry Island Ledge is a glorious place to check out near Quarry Pond, and Acadia
National Park is a nice national park. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Quarry Pond, you can go for a hike along the Western Mountain South Face Trail, and Quarry Pond is a good site to camp, Quiet Side Campground is a good site.
