Quarry Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Bass Harbor Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Back Cove is pretty close. After a long day outdoors The Harbour Cottage Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Goose Pond is one of those close by. Yeah, come here to Quarry Pond for a magnificent time. During your stay at Quarry Pond do stop by close by Joyce Beach.

| | At Quarry Pond you can catch a glimpse of Big Mountain, and Blue Hill Falls has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. So much cool stuff to do here at Quarry Pond, too perfect to be true. All our national parks are perfect locations to go to, and Acadia National Park is no exception, and why not take a refreshing hike along the South Face Trail. This lake is so wonderful. have a look at, and Harbor Heights Vacation Rental is a tremendous site to get some rest. At Quarry Pond all through the summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime
highs are generally in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Quarry Pond drop into the 10's. Don't miss out on a brilliant swamp; Lily Pond is right here at Quarry Pond, and the Wonderland Trail
offers hiking at its best. A great deal of precipitation falls at Quarry Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A day
at Hero Beach right next door to Quarry Pond is time well spent, and Quarry Pond is right by the Western Mountain South Face Trail. Quiet Side Campground is a great campground nearby, and if you've had enough of Quarry Pond, Stockbridge Pond is nearby.

 | We went there in September, but, it seemed like an ideal, quiet place for hikers who may want to get off the beaten track on a very commercial island. The showers were clean, the sites were clean and it was not the most expensive. Forewarned, the shuttle bus doesn't go there, price to pay for remoteness.... |
Blackwoods Campground
 | 17 miles away I have been camping there for 20 years, and it is the best campground I have ever seen. Everything is wonderful, and the bugs aren't even that bad.... |
