Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pushineer Pond; Island Pond Trail is a good local trail, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Fish River. At Pushineer Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Pushineer       Pond fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Little Black Check Point if you're here at Pushineer Pond, and there's good hiking along the Fox Brook Trail. Paddling on Big Brook River is so much fun, and one of the main traits of the surroundings of Pushineer Pond is Black Mountain. There's always Perch Pond Dam to take a look at close to Pushineer Pond, and camping is available at Pelletier's Campground. If only every site had this                  much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Round Trail.
