High temperatures at Pushineer Pond during the long summer days are in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pushineer Pond temperatures descend to the-10's. Black Mountain is clearly visible from       Pushineer Pond, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Round Trail. Camping is available at Pelletier's Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Island Pond is a lake close at hand, and going for a hike along the Fox Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Paddling on Big Brook River is so much fun, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Island                  Pond Trail.
