This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Big Squaw. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pugwash Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wildwood Shores Campground. So many cool things in close proximity to Pugwash Pond, simply astonishing. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ship Pond Stream, and Third Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Pugwash       Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Pugwash Pond you can take a hike along the Auburn Log Hauling Road. There's so much to do here at Pugwash Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a tremendous site for that. Having a splendid time at Pugwash Pond is simple. Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great location to get some rest; what would a spot like Pugwash Pond be without interesting close by highlights like Hammond                  Street Pitch. Pugwash Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Pleasant River - West Branch offers some perfect whitewater, and going for a hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You could also explore West Chairback Pond while you're here at Pugwash Pond; it's nearby, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Northwest Ridge Road.
