All the water falling down from the sky makes Pug Pond a wet location; the month with most of the rain is November; February on the other hand is the driest. lake, and Pug Pond is not far at all from Bangor. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Whitten Bog is right close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kenduskeag Stream. You could also visit Lost Pond since you're here at
Pug Pond; it's close by, and Pug Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pushaw Lake Campground is a good local campground. The Scutaze Trail offers hiking at its best; a fine location to camp here at Pug Pond is Villa Vaughn
Campground. For the period of the months of summer at Pug Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pug Pond are in the 0's.
