    Do stop by Pug Pond while you're in this part of Maine. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pug Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls through November, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Skiing at New Hermon Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and do stop by Holland Pond, it's a wonderful lake. A beautiful lake like Pickerel Pond near Pug Pond is a nice location to have a look at, and do take a hike on the Shore Road  
   Trail.
During the summer months highs here at Pug Pond get into the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Pug Pond tend to be in the 0's. This is a popular site for people from Bangor, and a great place to camp here at Pug Pond is Pushaw Lake Campground.

               Inn & Conference Center is a great spot to spend a night or two; swamps are attention-grabbing locations and Whitten Bog close to Pug Pond is no exception. Kenduskeag Stream has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hardy Pond Trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Pug Pond is excellent! Pug Pond is right by the Scutaze Trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Hidden Meadows Golf Course.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Villa Vaughn Campground if you're here at Pug Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Bangor.
