Bog Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Harmon Mountain is stunning and can be made out from here. Pug Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Be careful coming       to Pug Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Camping at Sunkhaze Campground is always a brilliant experience, and float down the rapids of Machias River in a kayak. You are in the vicinity of Long Lake Cove since you're here at Pug Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, East Machias River offers some pleasant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mud Hole                  Trail; why not pop by a swamp like Pug Heath while you're here at Pug Lake. Why not visit close by Bryant Brook while you're here at Pug Lake, and a lake close by is Horseshoe Lake. Summertime highs at Pug Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's.
