The high level of rain makes Province Lake a relatively wet site; most of the rain falls through November, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Beachwood Shores Campground is a great location to camp. Lakes are pleasant; Little Ossipee River Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Province Lake, and why not take a little visit to       Hobbs Brook since you're here. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Province Lake is a lake around here, and the skiing at King Pine is magnificent. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Providence Lake Beach, and if you need a site to stay Oxford House Inn is a pleasant choice. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Province Lake. Camping is available at Bally-Hoo Campground, and float down the rapids of Ossipee River                  in a kayak. A splendid nearby hotel is Merrill Farm Resort, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Abenaki. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Province Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Province Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
