Don't leave Prick Pond without first going for a hike along the Arnold Pond Trail, and soar down the rapids of Cupsuptic River in a kayak. the Morrell Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Black Arrow Lodge is a perfect location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Moose River - South Branch, and why not camp at Cathedral Pines Camping Area if you're here at Prick Pond.

 | 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
