High temperatures at Prestile Stream during the days of summer are in the 70's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Prestile Stream overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. The yearly rain here at Prestile Stream is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and       February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little journey to Robinson Dam since you're here at Prestile Stream. Lakes? Sure, McPherson Lake is in the neighborhood. Mars Hill Country Club is a perfect golf course nearby, and Prestile Stream is right by the Pierce Tote Road. Prestile Stream is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Wilde Pines Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and if you don’t have a problem                  getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Aroostook River. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Scottish Inns Houlton; the Sweets Trail offers hiking at its best. Stay the night at Neil E Michaud Campground; do stop by Three Brooks since you're here at Prestile Stream. What would winter be without some skiing at Bigrock, and there are other places here than Prestile Stream, for example Whitehead Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in close proximity to Prestile Stream has to offer.
