Summer at Presque Isle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Presque Isle Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.       Hiking is a popular thing to do around Presque Isle Lake; Kennedy Tote Road is a magnificent local trail, and Presque Isle Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Neil E Michaud Campground is a good local campground. Bigrock has good slopes and a friendly staff, and get yourself into a kayak and hit B Stream. A delightful nearby hotel is Shiretown Motor Inn, and the panorama of Meduxnekeag Mountain is striking. The annual rain here at Presque Isle                  Lake is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Presque Isle Lake is not the only place nearby, Number Nine Lake is a nearby lake. Having a delightful time at Presque Isle Lake is painless. Hovey Swamp is an exciting swamp next to Presque Isle Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pierce Tote Road.
