     Maine has many beautiful lakes and Prescott Pond is one of them. What would a place like Prescott Pond be without attention-grabbing close by features like Bear Pond Ledge, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Prescott Pond; Gulf Hagas Trail is a good local trail. It's always wonderful to stop at Little Wilson Falls; get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Wilson Stream. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Prescott  
   Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Prescott Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wildwood Shores Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Intake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Big Squaw. Summer at Prescott Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the
 
               20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Prescott Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Indian Stream is a fine local stream, and Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great place to get some rest.
Big Wilson Stream Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Prescott Pond is right by the Number Four Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at Prescott Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Balsam woods Campground is a good spot for that; swamps are attention-grabbing sites and Juniper Knee Bog in the neighborhood of Prescott Pond is no exception. The amount of rain that falls at Prescott Pond is close to the national average; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
