     You're possibly interested in lakes, Trout Pond is one of those nearby; you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Eaton Mountain. Much rain falls at Prentiss Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. If you come at the right time of year, Wesserunsett Stream offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Prentiss Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Breezy Acres is a delightful  
   place for that.
And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Prentiss Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kingsbury Stream, and if you came to camp Two Rivers Campground is a great spot to do that. Lakes are tremendous; Wyman Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Prentiss Pond, and a nice nearby hotel is Bingham Motor Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Bunker Hill is simple to spot from Prentiss Pond,
 
               and Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest.
Throughout the months of summer highs here at Prentiss Pond get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Prentiss Pond.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
