Pond in the River is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Go for a hike on the Table Rock Trail. Visit Blackcat Brook while you're here at Pond in the River, and after a long day outdoors Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a splendid site to spend a night or two. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Do go to Lower Richardson Lake close to Pond in the River, it's a beautiful lake, and

| | an exciting thing to check out right next door to Pond in the River is Middle Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Pond in the River that you need to camp here for a while, South Arm Campground is a fine place for that, and you'll locate a striking lake called Richardson Lake. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Pond in the River; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. | |

Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pond in the River are in the-10's.
