    It's always fun to stop by Pond Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Pond Lake you must check out Dyer Cove, and a glorious location to camp here at Pond Lake is Keenes Lake Camping Grounds. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Pond Lake reach the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Pond Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. The high level  
   of rainfall makes Pond Lake a pretty wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June.
This place, Pond Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Why not camp at Long Lake Campground while you're here at Pond Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Machias River offers some great whitewater. While you're here at Pond Lake, you could also have a look at pretty West
 
               Grand Lake, and soar down the rapids of Grand Lake Stream in a kayak.
From Pond Lake you get a tremendous vista of Amazon Mountain; do visit Bonney Brook Lake, it's a wonderful lake. Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Houlton, and some of the water nearby flows, like Amazon Brook.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
