    Beautiful Pond Farm Pond has much to offer visitors. If you came for an overnight stay South Branch Lake Camp is a magnificent place to camp, and do stop by Pond Farm Pond Dam while you're here. Maxy Brook is a glorious spot to explore, and you can run the rapids of Schoodic Stream. This lake is so wonderful. King's Trailer Park is a splendid campground nearby; after a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two.
Through the warmest
 
   time of the year at Pond Farm Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Pond Farm Pond during the winter ordinarily dip into the 0's. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Pond Farm Pond has it all. At Pond Farm Pond you always meet someone from Bangor, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby  
               called the Shore Trail. Pond Farm Pond is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Shore Road Trail. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Piscataquis River, and going for a hike on the Lake Trail is always a good adventure.
