Pogy Pond is a nice lake to visit. If you came for an overnight stay South Branch Pond Campground is a good place to camp, and Dry Gorge is a wonderful place to have a look at. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Pogy Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Pogy Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Get soaked paddling on Nesowadnehunk

Pogy Pond you could also visit close by Bell Pond. The South Branch Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Pogy Pond, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Grand Falls. And that's not all you can do here at
Pogy Pond. If the weather is wonderful here at Pogy Pond, you can go for a hike along the Howe, and let's not forget Snub Brook which is a stream that you may encounter while here. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along
the Wassataquoik Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Weed Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
