It's always fun to stop by Podunk Pond. Podunk Pond gets a typical amount of rain; all through August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Podunk Pond all through the warm months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Podunk Pond dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. A great close by hotel is Comfort

This lake is so wonderful. Berry Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and the slopes of Titcomb are so inviting noone can resist. At Podunk Pond you can catch a sight of Masterman Hill, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bowley Brook. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.

There is a great hiking trail near Podunk Pond called the Piazza Rock Trail, and Dummer's Beach is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Siberia Meadows is a brilliant spot to stretch your legs a bit, and Black Mountain
is a splendid local ski area. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Podunk Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at Oakdale Country Club, and if you need a place to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a good choice.
So many
amusing things to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. On a splendid day at Podunk Pond you can take a hike along the Brook Trail, and why not camp at Mountain View Campground while you're here at Podunk Pond. The Chimney Trail
is a fine hiking trail close to Podunk Pond, and there's whitewater on Sandy River for all you thrill seekers.
