Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Stream, and a lake nearby is Oak Hill Pond. From a rainfall point of view Pockwockamus Pond is a rather normal location; most of the rain falls all through July; the driest month of the year is February. Through the warm months here at Pockwockamus Pond, high       temperatures frequently get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pockwockamus Pond are in the-10's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Pockwockamus Pond is excellent! Camping at Big Moose Campground is always a great experience, and nearby you find the Telephone Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Nesowadnehunk Stream. This is a popular place for people from Bangor; it's a perfect idea to pop by Beaver Brook. This lake is so wonderful.
