Do stop by Pocasset Lake while you're in this part of Maine. So many fun things close to Pocasset Lake, definitely extraordinary. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nezinscot River; the skiing at Lost Valley is splendid. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is tremendous fun, and a day on the slopes of Titcomb is just what you need. Beaver Brook

If you need a place to stay Winthrop Motel is a nice choice, and why not go to nearby Hales Brook since you're here at Pocasset Lake. Comfort Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest; Riverbend Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lane Inn & Golf Club, and the great people of Lewiston-Auburn like to hang out close by. A good deal of rainfall falls at Pocasset Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most; February
is the month with the least moisture. During the warm days of summer at Pocasset Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and
nighttime lows in the 0's for Pocasset Lake. Manter Hill is simple to spot from Pocasset Lake, and a nice location for whitewater paddling is Sandy River.
