Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Plymouth Pond. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Martin Stream; do visit Woodman Brook while you're here at Plymouth Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene spots, why not stop at Round Pond near       Plymouth Pond; Sebasticook Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. Plymouth Pond is a glorious lake near Plymouth Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; New Hermon Mountain is quite near. Plymouth Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. A tremendous site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Plymouth Pond is Kenduskeag Stream; Christie's Campground                  is a pleasant local campground. Through the long summer days highs here at Plymouth Pond get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Plymouth Pond fall into the 0's.
