Augusta/Gardiner KOA is a great spot for that.
Be careful coming to Pleasant Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. Enjoy a round of golf at Kennebec Heights Country Club not far from Pleasant Pond; if you need a spot
to stay Maple Hill Farm B & B Inn is a great choice. There's always New Mills Dam to visit next to Pleasant Pond, and naturally, A spree to Farmingdale Shoal is always fun. Pleasant Pond is a good site of typical rain; all through
the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
