There are other spots here than Pleasant Lake, for example Lower Portage Pond, and tremendous hiking is available along the Old Telos Tote Road. Go for a hike on the Chase Carry, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Smith Brook. Musquacook Stream is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Pleasant Lake, and the top of Pleasant Mountain is easily observed from Pleasant Lake. This is no spot for people
