For the period of the long summer days at Pleasant Lake highs are usually in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Pleasant Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Pleasant Lake is magnificent enough to spend more       than a day at, Birch Point Lodge Campgrounds is a magnificent local campground, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Pierce Tote Road. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mattawamkeag River - West Branch, and if you're here, you could also explore charming Mattawamkeag Lake. A nice place to camp here at Pleasant Lake is Bear Mountain Lodge; a golf course nearby is VA Jo WA Golf Club Walker.                  What a location this is for outdoors people. If you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a brilliant choice, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Mattawamkeag River - East Branch. While you're here at Pleasant Lake you can take a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Lost Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Black Point near Pleasant Lake is always a glorious idea.
