There's so much to do here at Plain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Windsong Campgrounds is a good place for that; do take a hike on the Weeks Brook Trail. During the warm months here at Plain Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are       regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Plain Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Hubbard Pond is a great lake near Plain Pond, and the snow is delightful at King Pine. After a long day outdoors Merrill Farm Resort is a delightful place to spend a night or two; it's a nice idea to take a look at South River. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Mine Pond in the neighborhood of Plain                  Pond; a day on the slopes of Cranmore Mountain is just what you need. A great deal of rain falls at Plain Pond; most of the rain falls all through November; the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Bally-Hoo Campground is a tremendous location to do that, and going for a hike along the Shingle Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Plain Pond.
