All the water falling down from the sky makes Piper Pond a wet site; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Whetstone Pond is in the neighborhood, and Pittsfield Motor Inn is a great spot to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Gulf Hagas Trail is always a       brilliant adventure; camping is available at Balsam woods Campground. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. Near Piper Pond you locate the Big Squaw Mountain Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; why not camp at Wildwood Shores Campground if you're here at Piper Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Brown Hill can be observed from Piper Pond. A great nearby hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake; there are some glorious                  whitewater spots on Kingsbury Stream. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Piper Pond highs are usually in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Piper Pond.
