Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Sheepscot Links Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by. At Pinkham Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pinkham Pond. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the       vicinity of Pinkham Pond called the Hockomock Nature Trail; if you need a spot to stay Schooner Inn is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sheepscot River; Sheepscot River Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. Blinn Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Pinkham Pond; camping at Chewonki Campground is always a fine experience. If you're visiting Pinkham Pond from Augusta-Waterville,                  you won't be the only one, and Pinkham Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Down East Family Camping/tenting is a tremendous local campground.
