High temperatures at Pineo Pond throughout the long summer days are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Pineo Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do       here at Pineo Pond. Do go to Spring Hole Pond near Pineo Pond, it's a scenic lake. Camping is available at Sunset Point Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Narraguagus River - West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pineo Pond; Lead Mountain Trail is a fine local trail, and unsurprisingly Beaver Meadow Brook flows through this area. Pineo Pond gets a great deal                  of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is August.
