     The beauty of Pike Pond attracts many people from all around. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Pike Pond. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Pike Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A wonderful lake like Bradbury Lake near Pike Pond is a good spot to take a look at, and if you need a  
   spot to stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a tremendous choice. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on B Stream, and not far from Pike Pond you get some glorious water scenery at Pike Pond Dam.
Camping at My Brothers Place is always a fine experience, and the Potters Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bigrock is near Pike Pond, and whitewater
 
               paddling is fine on Meduxnekeag River - South Branch.
Glancy Lake is a glorious lake near Pike Pond, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a good spot to spend a night or two. Lamb Brook is a lovely stream that is worth going to, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Pierce Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Pike Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Wilde Pines Campground is a nice local campground.
An average amount of rain falls at Pike Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
