Pickerel Pond. There's whitewater on Saco River for all you adrenaline people, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Ossipee River.
Stay the night at Maine Mountain, and some
of the water nearby flows, like Leavitt Brook. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Shawnee Peak is just what you need, and after a long day outdoors Sanford Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
