A beautiful lake like Lovejoy Pond right next door to Pickerel Pond is a great spot to stop at, and a magnificent place to camp here at Pickerel Pond is Beaver Brook Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Titcomb while you're here; there's whitewater on Sandy River for all you adrenaline       junkies. Summertime at Pickerel Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows during the wintertime for Pickerel Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Maple Hill Farm B & B Inn is a good place to get some rest, and an attention-grabbing thing to go to close to Pickerel Pond is Lovejoy Pond Dam. Pickerel Pond is perfect enough to spend more                  than a day at, Five Seasons Campground is a perfect local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Pickerel Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
