So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Petes Pond, just impressive. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Fox Brook Trail is always a nice adventure; Petes Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Little Black Check Point is a wonderful local campground. This is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes. Sag Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the Rocky Mountain       Trail. Petes Pond gets a typical amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Petes Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Petes Pond temperatures fall to the-10's. Lakes are fine; Big Brook Lake is a lake that's near Petes                  Pond; if you came to camp Lakeview Campgrounds is a wonderful site to do that.
