There are some glorious whitewater spots on Sandy River - South Branch; skiing at Saddleback is one of those things you just should do. Having a fine time in the White Mountains is easy. | | into a kayak and hit Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. Chandler Mill Stream is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and the Brook Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Black Brook Cove Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and great skiing awaits you at Black Mountain. The panorama of Beech Hill from Perry Pond is charming; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail. | |

Through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 70's at Perry Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Perry Pond are in the-10's.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Dummer's Beach is a magnificent local campground, and a short trip to Smalls Falls is always worthwhile. A typical amount of rain
falls here at Perry Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Perry Pond, you could also stop at scenic Little Saddleback Pond, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Chimney Trail.
