Stay the night at Black Brook Cove Campground, and going for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail is always a great adventure. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Dummer's Beach is a perfect campground nearby, and a tour to Smalls Falls will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings. Perry Pond is not the only spot close by, Harvey Pond is a close by lake; float down the rapids of Sandy River in a kayak. Head up to Black Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, obviously you could also stop by Little Saddleback Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. at the right time of year, Sandy River - South Branch offers some glorious whitewater, and swing by Chandler Mill Stream it's a good location to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the
slopes of close by Saddleback, and you can go for a hike on the Chimney Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Perry Pond you can see Beech Hill; there are magnificent places to look at along the Brook Trail. This lake is one of
the great places here in the White Mountains. Through the warmest time of the year here at Perry Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Perry Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.

The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
