     There's so much to do here at Perk Pond that you need to camp here for a while, North Camps is a nice location for that, and you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Yorks Logan. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bemis Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Gile Logan. Hiking along the Milrose Trail is brilliant fun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything  
   Perk Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Brook Cove Campground. Perk Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February.
All through the months of summer highs here at Perk Pond reach the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Perk Pond during the
 
               winter generally sink into the-10's. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Saddleback, and from Perk Pond you acquire a pleasant vista of Burnham Hill. Be careful coming to Perk Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. Dead River - South Branch is a tremendous whitewater spot next to Perk Pond, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School not far from Perk Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kennebago River; brilliant skiing awaits you at Black Mountain.

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....
