This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Big Brook River right next door to Perch Pond, and Pelletier's Campground is a glorious campground nearby. Perch Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. The Fox Brook Trail offers hiking at its       best, and Perch Pond Dam has good water scenery. Summertime highs at Perch Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Perch Pond. Upper Pond is a tremendous lake close to Perch Pond, and the view of scenic Black Mountain is wonderful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Perch Pond. Perch Pond is right by the Round Trail; you can stay the night at Little Black Check Point. Lakes?
