River Reservoir is a good place of common precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Bangor is a good choice;
get drenched paddling on Stillwater River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Old Gold Mine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a perfect close by hotel is Courtyard Bangor. You'll
need more than a day to discover everything Penobscot River Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Greenwood Acres Campground, and hey, Gotta ski right? New Hermon Mountain is a great place to do that.

Pushaw Lake Campground
 | Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.
We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
