Penobscot River Reservoir is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Greenwood Acres Campground is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and everybody close by loves skiing at New Hermon Mountain. Penobscot River Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.  | Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.
