Maine has many beautiful lakes and Penobscot River Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Schoodic Stream. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Penobscot River Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at South Branch Lake Camp. Penobscot River Reservoir is right by the Shore Road Trail; if you need a place to stay University Inn Academic Suites is a tremendous choice.

of year, Piscataquis River offers some good whitewater, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Bangor here. Hiking along the Hardy Pond Trail is splendid fun, and Penobscot River Reservoir is a nice spot to visit for more than one day,
King's Trailer Park is a nice spot to camp nearby. Not far from Penobscot River Reservoir you get some pleasant water scenery at Stanford Dam, and do take a hike on the Shore Trail. The annual precipitation here at Penobscot River
Reservoir is about average; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Emerson Runaround is a stunning stream that is worth visiting, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
