What a nice lake Penobscot River Reservoir is. Yeah, come here to Penobscot River Reservoir for a nice time. Good hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Bangor. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Penobscot River Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows during the winter for Penobscot River Reservoir

There's perfect hiking along the Old Gold Mine Trail; skiing at New Hermon Mountain is one of those things you just should do.
