     You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the White Mountains. Gotta ski! Cranmore Mountain is a great place to do that, and if you're here, you could also visit beautiful Clays Pond. On a wonderful day at Peat Pond you can take a hike along the Province Brook Trail; Zen Farm RV Resort is a good local campground. Dry warm beds await you at White Mountain Hotel and Resort, and the Weeks Brook Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.
 
   You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Peat Pond. After a long day outdoors Oxford House Inn is a great site to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Fiddlehead Campground is a tremendous location to camp. Peat Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. That right there is a load of entertaining things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Black Pond is a nearby lake that you  
               could check out; Ossipee River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Peat Pond called the Kearsarge Trail, and Bald Peak is stunning and can be seen from here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Peat Pond. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while Peat Pond night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of King Pine are so inviting nobody can resist, and needless to say Haley Brook flows through this region.
Peat Pond gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is when it's the driest.
