Upper Mattawamkeag Lake is a wonderful       lake near Peasley Brook; paddling on Mattawamkeag River - West Branch is so much fun. There are great places to explore along the Kennedy Tote Road. The amount of rain that falls at Peasley Brook is close to the national                  average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. There are other places here than Peasley Brook, for example Morgridge Pond; here at Peasley Brook you can distinguish Robinson Mountain. Go for a hike on the Pierce Tote Road, and getting to Alder Brook from Peasley Brook is painless.
