Peaked Mountain Pond, it's a pretty lake, and Patten Hill is clearly visible from Peaked Mountain Pond. Peaked Mountain Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while
June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Peaked Mountain Pond; Mud Hole Trail is a tremendous local trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Old Stream.

 | 16 miles away Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
