This lake is so wonderful. Fischer Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Malabeam Lake Campground is a fine local campground. There are some great whitewater spots on Aroostook River, and Pattee Brook is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge and Campground is a fine site to camp nearby. If you       need a place to stay Crown Park Inn is a good choice, and some close by water includes Hacker Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Pattee Brook gets a typical amount of rain; most of the rain falls during August, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Pattee Brook. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's; through the dark                  hours in the wintertime at Pattee Brook temperatures sink to the-10's. Skiing at Bigrock is one of those things you just must do, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pattee Brook; Sweets Trail is a good local trail. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Pattee Brook has it all.
