Get dripping wet paddling on Northern Inlet, and the summit of Conner Hill can be observed from Patrick Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Cobscook Bay State Park is a great campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cathance Stream. You definitely have to love Patrick Lake. Patrick Brook is a perfect local stream, and obviously, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Lake Cathance is a lake nearby. All through the warmest time of the year at Patrick Lake highs are usually in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.  | I am a local of the Cathance Stream area. Stoddards Rips and Ayers Rips have no affiliation with Cathance Stream. These rips are on the Dennys River and would require an entirely different trip all together. In all of my years living here, (37) I have never heard of anyone traveling to this area soley to canoe or kayak Cathance Stream. There are several portages not mentioned above (fishways, deep drops with ledge, dams!! etc.!!!) that everyone should be made aware of.... |
