Hiking along the Alder Brook Trail is splendid fun. There's so much to do here at Parlin Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Woody's Campground and Cottages is a tremendous place for that. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Horseshoe Pond is a lake around here, and if you came to camp Loon Echo Campground is a fine place       to do that. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Bald Mountain Trail, and the vista of Parlin Mountain is beautiful. All the outdoors fun things in close proximity to Parlin Pond will keep you coming back many times. If you're here at Parlin Pond, you could go to Bean Brook, and a day on the slopes of Sugarloaf USA is just what you need. Parlin Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month                  is February. This lake is so wonderful. Cold Stream has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Lakes are fine; Fernald Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Parlin Pond. For the duration of the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Parlin Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
