Parker Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Jackman Trading Post is a splendid local campground, and hiking along the Sally Mountain Trail is nice fun. The annual rain here at Parker Pond is about average; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling       is magnificent on Little Spencer Stream; do take a hike on the Bigelow Range Trail. Sugarloaf USA is a very popular ski area close at hand, and Spencer Stream has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Parker Pond. There's so much to do here at Parker Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Loon Echo Campground is a glorious location for that; Parker Pond is right by the Fire Warden                  Trail. While you're here at Parker Pond, you could also stop at stunning Spencer Lake; don't miss out on a brilliant swamp; Spencer Gut is right here at Parker Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Saddleback. Summertime highs at Parker Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's.
