Stay the night at Jackman Trading Post, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Bigelow Range Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Spencer Gut is right close by, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Sugarloaf USA. So much entertaining stuff close to Parker Pond, definitely impressive. Do stop by Lost Pond in the neighborhood of Parker Pond, it's a lovely       lake, and hiking along the Fire Warden Trail is pleasant fun. Spencer Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Spencer Stream is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Parker Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Loon Echo Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Saddleback. The annual precipitation here at Parker Pond is about average; July is the wettest month                  with most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Parker Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Parker Pond.
