Pamola Pond is a lake worth visiting. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nesowadnehunk Stream River; Chimney Pond Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Dudley Trail is always a perfect adventure, and a lake nearby is Lower Togue Pond. Get drenched paddling on Sandy Stream, and if you need a site to stay Katahdin Inn is a glorious choice. The yearly rainfall here at Pamola Pond is about average; the month with

| | most of the rain is July, and February is the month with the least moisture. Go for a hike on the South Branch Trail; the peak of Chimney Peak can be made out from Pamola Pond. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Pamola Pond, too great to be true. There is a delightful hiking trail in the vicinity of Pamola Pond called the Chimney Pond Trail, and Pamola Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Roaring Brook Campground is a good place to camp nearby. | |

Great Basin is a nice site here at Pamola Pond, and at Pamola Pond you always meet someone from Bangor. Summer at Pamola Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's while Pamola Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
