    Beautiful Paine Pond has much to offer visitors. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Paine Pond has it all. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Norway Country Club; Pleasant Mountain Inn is a great location to get some rest. Cobble Hill is clearly visible from Paine Pond. There's so much to do here at Paine Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Two Lakes Camping is a wonderful site for that. This lake is so wonderful.  
   Hiking along the Albany Mountain Trail is delightful fun, and you can run the rapids of Little Androscoggin River.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Vacationland Campground is a fine place to do that. Mount Abram is a very popular ski area in close proximity; if you need a place to stay The Perennial Inn is a nice choice. Head up to Shawnee Peak and strap some skis to your feet, and Paine Pond is right by the Albany Brook Trail.

               rain point of view Paine Pond is a reasonably common location; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. At Paine Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Paine Pond sink into the-10's. Swamps are exciting places and Witt Swamp near Paine Pond is no exception, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Bisco Falls.
