Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Norway Country Club. There's so much to do here at Paine Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Vacationland Campground is a great spot for that. Paine Pond is a good location of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly       August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hit the slopes at Mount Abram nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Paine Pond you can see Cobble Hill, and nearby you stumble on the Albany Brook Trail which is a fine hiking trail. At Paine Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs                  are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Paine Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. So much amusing stuff to do here at Paine Pond, too great to be true. Going for a hike on the Albany Mountain Trail is always a great adventure; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Shawnee Peak. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Paine Pond has to offer, you can camp at Two Lakes Camping, and there are other places here than Paine Pond, for example Pennesseewassee Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a great choice, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Little Androscoggin River.
