Summertime highs at Owl Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Owl Pond through the winter mostly fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Camp Samoset II is a great spot to do that. Camping at Kingsley Pines Camp       is always a pleasant experience, and since you're here, do take a tour to Pine Point. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Owl Pond has it all. People from Portland-South Portland love to come to Owl Pond; Pleasant Mountain Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Elms Bed and Breakfast is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Barton Hill is trouble-free to spot from Owl Pond.                  There's whitewater on Crooked River for all you adrenaline junkies; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Shawnee Peak since you're here. Owl Pond is a rather wet place typically with a large amount of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture.
