     Otter Ponds is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Bass Harbor Campground is a splendid campground here, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Western Mountain South Face Trail. A cool spot to pop by in close proximity to Otter Ponds is High Head, and a great place to stop by is Sister Ledge. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ann's Point Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two; perhaps you're  
   looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Goose Pond is just a very short distance away.
Joyce Beach is in close proximity to Otter Ponds and is a stunning beach to have a look at, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Blue Hill Falls. Otter Ponds is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; throughout November this area sees the most rain; August meanwhile is the driest month. You have to unquestionably explore charming Hero Beach if you're here
 
               at Otter Ponds; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Harbor Trail.
Otter Ponds is a good place to camp, Quiet Side Campground is a good place, and taking a little trip to nearby East Point is a magnificent idea. At Otter Ponds all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Otter Ponds. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
While you're here at Otter Ponds you can take a hike along the Wonderland Trail, and if you need a place to stay Central House Inn is a perfect choice. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Otter Ponds has it all. Looking for a magnificent spree? Acadia National Park is relatively in the neighborhood of Otter Ponds, and the summit of Big Mountain can be made out from Otter Ponds.
