Custom Search     Otter Pond     This lake is so wonderful. From Otter Pond you get a delightful vista of Otter Pond Mountain; after a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a great local campground, and Otter Pond Cove is reasonably close. Bingham Motor Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest; why not take a refreshing hike along the Fire Warden Trail. In case you enjoy whitewater, there is the Pierce Pond     to Kennebec River section, a grade V+ whitewater run on Pierce Pond Stream, 3.5 miles from beginning to end. In case you have a good deal of whitewater rafting and kayaking experience, this run of Pierce Pond Stream may be a great whitewater run for you.   Went to Otter for first time.
