The amount of rainfall that falls at Otter Pond is close to the national average; through November this area sees the most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest. At Pierce Pond Dam near Otter Pond there are some interesting things to see, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Fire Warden Trail. Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a great campground nearby; a       delightful close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. Very picturesque scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Sugarloaf USA, and if you need a spot to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a great choice. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do close to Otter Pond. Glide down the rapids of Pierce Pond Stream in a kayak, and at Otter Pond you can distinguish Black Nubble. While you're here at Otter Pond you can take a hike along the Arnolds Trail; Otter Pond                  is a great location to visit for more than one day, Northern Outdoors is a great location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Otter Pond Stream close to Otter Pond is a wonderful idea. Through the warm months here at Otter Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Otter Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
