Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Otter Pond is peerless! Good hiking is available along the Chase Carry. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Smith Brook, and don't leave Otter Pond without first going for a hike along the Telephone Trail. During the summer months highs here at Otter Pond get into the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. During the winter highs       are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Otter Pond. From a precipitation point of view Otter Pond is a reasonably common place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Otter Pond, you could also explore lovely Lewis Pond, and if you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along                  the Carry Trail; Round Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
